Positive: We had a wonderful 7-night stay at Double View Point and would highly recommend it. The views are absolutely exceptional, with a stunning panorama of Mount Agung and the beautiful surrounding countryside. It's such a peaceful place, surrounded by nature, making it the perfect escape from the busy tourist areas. The room was lovely, with beautiful wooden furniture and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were extremely comfortable, there was a wardrobe with plenty of shelves and hanging space, a dressing table with a mirror, a small table, and a lovely covered veranda where we could sit and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The hosts were absolutely incredible and couldn't have been kinder. They went out of their way to accommodate us throughout our stay and were always so friendly, welcoming and helpful. They are genuinely lovely, hard-working people who clearly care about both their guests and their local community. We genuinely couldn't have asked for nicer hosts. The restaurant was another highlight. The food was absolutely delicious, with a good choice of dishes, and everything was very reasonably priced. It made our stay even more special knowing that we were the first guests to book through Booking.com. We hope many more people discover this hidden gem because it really is a lovely place to stay. Thank you for making our week in Sibetan so memorable!
Negative: Nothing about the property itself. The only thing to be aware of is that, because of the rural location, it can be difficult to get a Grab or GoJek at short notice. If you're planning to travel onwards, I'd recommend arranging your transport in advance with the hosts or a local driver, as the apps don't allow you to pre-book rides in this area.
