Positive: Our stay was a wonderful experience and a highlight of our trip! The warm hospitality of Aldo and Rosa and their grandson Gabriel was exceptional, and they made us feel like family! The location in the Sassi district is perfect. Aldo advised us regarding parking ahead of our arrival, and he met us at the parking garage and transported our family of four - and all of our luggage - to the property with ease! It made our arrival so simple and pleasant. The room was very spacious and comfortable for our family. The terrace was lovely and the perfect place to take in the views of the Sassi, especially in the evening when the lights made for a magical atmosphere. Breakfast was very generous and exceeded our expectations as well. Rosa and Aldo served a wide variety of fresh local cheeses and meats, homemade baked goods, fresh fruit, all finished with an excellent espresso or cappuccino as you wish. We particularly enjoyed the friendly conversations with our hosts, and we were treated like family throughout our stay. Matera itself is beautiful, and our visit was all the more special because of our stay here - both for the wonderful location and, even more so, the kindness and warmth of our hosts, Aldo and Rosa.
