Positive: the villa is amazing - huge rooms, amazing shower and hot tubs and 2 saunas, a fantastic playcourt which was amazing for the kids, the kitchen had a lot of accesories for cooking and they have washing machines, free wifi and the staff was very kind via messages on every request we had.
Negative: the washing machine was in japanese and even with english instructions it was really hard to operate. maybe consider a video instruction in english. also we didn't have hot water for a period of time in one shower and sink because there was a problem with the boiler. but since there's another bathroom it wasn't that bad. the location is very beautiful up in the mountains, last house in the road, so we have complete woods and quiet around us, but because of that it was really hard to order a taxi to take us to the train station and the owner of the villa couldn't order one for us even though they tried. we ended up walking for 20 min. to the nearest bus stop with alllllll our suitcases in order to not miss the shinkansen, so it was a stressful experience. you should know to order a taxi in advance from a private company and not uber because we ordered from uber the night before and received confirmation, but in the morning they simply said they can't find a taxi and it was already too late for us.
