Positive: We recently stayed at Mamahouse for 8 nights and had an excellent stay. The room is smart and well furnished, with a very comfortable large double bed. Our hosts kept us well supplied with Nespresso coffee and bottled water; the air conditioning worked well when we needed it, and the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable; the shower worked well, and the room had great facilities. Although the room is on the ground floor near a busy pedestrianised street, it was surprisingly quiet. The location in the old town is excellent. All the main sights are within easy walking distance, the station for Pompeii is just a short stroll away, and there are excellent restaurants within a couple of minutes’ walk. We felt very safe in the area. What made our stay truly special was the kindness of our hosts, Pietro and Laura. They met us on arrival, looked after us brilliantly throughout, kindly kept our luggage on our last day, and went out of their way to help us on our departure. We’re already recommending Mamahouse to friends visiting Naples. Thank you, Pietro and Laura!
