Positive: We loved our stay at the Element Garden. The hotel is situated right next to Taksim Square, near the busiest and most exciting streets in Instanbul. The room had everything needed for a week long stay, including a kitchenette (which we didn't use). Bonus points for the owner: he was so kind and helpful!
Negative: As I mentioned, the hotel is situated near the busiest area, where the nightlife "happens" and bars are full of people. And "unexpectedly" in the weekend they were pretty loud. The building where the hotel is situated seems old and I guess there's not much to do to block the noise coming from outside, so probably bringing your own earplugs might be a good advice for future customers.
